Travel Advice For The Dragon & The Apprentice

07 January 2010 Posted by: Editor
The Dragon & The Apprentice event is going ahead as scheduled. We cannot cancel or re-schedule as Bill Cullen has been paid & he has assured us he will be at the venue at 8am regardless of the weather. We will loose a lot of money if the event does not go ahead which we cannot justify as a non profit organisation. However if driving on Monday is a problem, The Osprey Hotel has rooms available for €110.00 OR €140 including dinner & Breakfast for 2 people as quoted by a member of the forum http://www.osprey.ie/ please quote Dragon & Apprentice event. Drive down on Sunday, treat yourself so you have no trouble attending the days event on Monday. The council have assured us the Naas Road will be gritted on Sunday night in anticipation for the snow fall. Kildare County Councils building is in the same location as The Osprey Hotel, and the Naas Road is one of Ireland's busiest & maintained roads. Business as usual on Monday!

If driving please use the main roads, drive with extreme caution and allow plenty of time for your journey. It will require an early start but we guarantee you it will be worth it. The exit to take off the Naas Road is the North Exit into Naas (EXIT 10), it's the B&Q exit. Do NOT go through Naas town centre as you are likely to get stuck in a traffic jam. Plan your journey well in advance.

We look forward to welcoming you on the day. Stand holders can set up from 8am on Monday morning, we advise you to start your day early in anticipation of traffic.

Let's stop complaining about the snow, get back to business, look forward to making new connections on the day, adjust your mindset to a positive one. Start looking forward to the day and not the journey getting there, plan your journey and let's all have a wonderful day.
